Does a portable reverse cycle air conditioner heat as well as cool?

Yes. The TECO TPO35HFWET has a cooling capacity of 3.5 kW and a heating capacity of 3.2 kW, with cooling, heating, fan, dehumidifying and auto modes. The other portable models on this page are cooling only, so check the model name before you buy if you want heating for winter.

How do you vent a portable air conditioner through a window?

Every TECO portable air conditioner on this page comes with a 1.5 m exhaust hose and a window kit. The hose carries the warm air outside, so place the unit within 1.5 m of the window you plan to use. The user manual for each model shows how to fit the kit.

What size room does a TECO portable air conditioner suit?

As a guide, TECO recommends the 2.05 kW model for a small room, the 2.6 kW and 3.5 kW models for a medium room, and the 4.1 kW and 4.2 kW models for a large room. Room size is a recommendation only and actual results may differ.
